Title: Warlords of Erehwon Scale?
Post by: Mr. White on May 20, 2021, 03:06:47 PM
There are some pretty neat sculpts in this line, but how do they scale against the Northstar Ronin models and the Perry line? These Warlords minis are plastic, correct? I guess some, like the oni and birdmen are fine being a little bit off since they're mythical creatures, but are the female samurai and such decently sized to be on the table with the others?

The plastics are the old Wargames Factory models, Warlord simply bought the line.  In general, they are a little taller and more slender than Perry.  That said, I do have two archers made from the plastics that are mixed in with my Perry figs for a Ronin buntai.  Scale wise they are closer to Kensei.  For skirmish games you can swap them in/out fine.

This chap has a good cross comparison of figures:

Skipping the plastics

The Metals from Warlords of Erehwon scale very well
