Only the first of the three suns had risen,
so it was still fairly cool.
It was soon to heat up, but that would have
nothing to do with Sol 2 or 3.
Over-view of the game set up & teams.
First view of Rao-Ohn near two
scrap-yard 'shopping trollies'

Planet Gedietti Prime was a nothing,
in a no-where system, BUT...
the Navy would pursue absconders
even to places like this.
Ra-Ohn knew at least two of his crew were ex-Navy,
he never asked questions though.
Speck has just gotten out of the bunker.
Habitation has to be deep underground to be cool.
Enie, or is it her twin, 'Jemm'? who can tell, be
careful with them for the force is strong in them.
looks after the gun-shop.
Phalt is busy checking on the supply crates.
Littered around are two bodies (plot points?) but
none of Ra-Ohn's team seem bothered. Tough neighbourhood!
-
Ra-Ohn & his crew weren't looking for trouble,
so all their guns were holstered.
The Navy's shoulder weapons were unslung...
They had come for deserters and
weren't leaving without them, dead or alive!
They started into the junk yard.
-
Call for, 'Immediate surrender!' & 'Give up the deserters!'
were met with a fusillade of shots. The fight was on.
On the Navy's left Sam Hood & Zach Mudge
sought cover in the remains of a crashed Orpillian Interceptor.
Speck & Na-Sar-Hee started picking them off.
meanwhile Ra-Ohn lead from the safety of
a junk pile near the rear.
All too soon the fight was over.
Not one Sailor was alive. Not a scratch on team Ra-Ohn!!!
Reason for the game?
A rare visit from an old friend with (new to me) his teenage son.
Son agreed to play a quick game & proceeded to thrash Dad.
I enjoyed the all too fleeting visit & the (very) short
'Gunfight at the OK corral' game.
-
Great looking terrain on the table!
-
Yeah, the crashed spaceship/debris adds a lot of atmosphere!
-
Thanks guys. I do enjoy making Sci-Fi scenery out of
'interesting' bits. That is just as well, seeing as I've
squirrelled away so much of it! lol lol lol
-
That is some seriously cool terrain :-*
Nice to see that Imperial Pilot, rarity nowadays!
-
Thanks Brummie.
I do enjoy making such things.
Didn't know he was a rarity, I'll have
to be nicer to him from now on. :D
-
Great looking scenery Pete. Teenage son is 17 in base 16 :D - (23 in decimal lol lol lol). Must be wearing better than you or I !! Trick now is to get him to play again ;) ;)
-
Trouble is everybody seems young to me.
Good grief Gregor he's a 23 year old son of a
veteran wargamer & you haven't got him hooked yet????
The Jesuits used to say, 'Give us the boy until he is seven
& we'll have the Man for life'
Greg mate you had an extra 16 years & failed to brain wash him!! lol
-
Brilliant terrain
:-* :-* :-* :-*
-
Thanks Akula.
As said before I have boxes (& boxes) of 'interesting' bits
waiting to be turned into scenery. I am now getting to the stage
when, having completed other tasks/projects, I could do more
scenery, but where to store it all????
