Title: copplestone future wars individual figure sales?
Post by: Kikuchiyo on 25 June 2021, 03:14:01 PM
Wondering if anyone sells the copplestone castings future wars as individualfigures?

I'm only after a couple and of course they are in different packs...

May not be exactly what you want but EM4 has a lot of Copplestone's Future Wars stuff in earlier form. What you're looking for, or something very similar might be there.

Which ones are you after?  I can dig through the lead pile and take a look, although I don't have much of his stuff left unfinished at this point.

Ah, those are Copplestone Casting figures (integral base) rather than the former Grenadier figures (now sold by EM4).The Copplestone Casting range is of course sold by OGH. You could ask but probably not (he is probably working up to September's release of Quarantine 37).

I'm afraid I don't know who OGH is/are?

The Copplestone range is now sold under the Northstar umbrella, the very same people that  support and keep the LAF ticking over. But from your opening post you already know that.
I'm afraid I don't know of anyone who does singles.
I'd pick up the two packs, the figs are generic enough to be of use in many different contexts.

Our gracious host, I'd assume?

I had to look up Quarantine 37. I believe OGH is Osprey Games.

Might be, but where's the H come in?  Q37 is a Stargrave supplement Osprey is publishing, but Northstar makes the minis for it (and Frostgrave, and Ghost Archipelago, and Rangers of Shadow Deep).

Second City Games on ebay might be worth a look. :)

Yes, sorry - technology issue here.

I had to look up Quarantine 37. I believe OGH is Osprey Games.
It related to the (hoped for) figures for the forthcoming Stargrave expansion.

Quarantine 37 is a supplement for Stargrave in which players lead their crews into an abandoned space station, hunting for lost technology, unique research, and forgotten experiments. Compete with your opponents for these valuable resources across two competitive mini-campaigns, or venture into the vast maze of corridors and laboratories alone in the first Stargrave solo campaign. Also included are six new soldier types, new backgrounds and powers, terrifying additions to the bestiary, and a new advanced technology table packed with loot to help you in your adventures in the ravaged galaxy.

I enjoyed ROSD but never really got into the whole 'gave thing
'
Now if they ever made a 'stalkergrave' rendition hit me up :D

I don't know about you, but I'm certainly hoping for a female crew/merc/trooper box (probably too much to hope for one of each but a 2:3 mix of light and heavy armor styles on the frame would be fine), but and a frame of power armor in several different styles.  Maybe the latter could be a "small box" with 8-10 figs like the FG wizards sets, you don't really have much need for 20 armored/shock troopers at once - although of course the new soldier types might expand the power armor variety needed.  Love a PA engineer suit, for ex, and maybe a space-mobility pack version (ie jump trooper).

Those two are copplestone only. You might look through the grenadier killzone minis at EM4 or Forlorn Hope (formerly Moonraker) for scavengers and rebels that might be sort of close.

Under rebels & Scavengers they have :

Also, Khurasan has some 28mm scavenger raiders who are perhaps a little too post-apoc sci fi but they might be close to what you want. I dunno. I did not show the HQ group since they are much more on the sci-fi side of things than the troops with big funky heavy support type guns.

Mark Copplestone sculpted a lot of stuff for Warzone. I see here a lot of minis with a potential to be turned into great heretics and undead legionnaires.
