Title: A return to Middle-earth: First Age battle action
Post by: James Morris on 02 July 2021, 09:49:10 PM: After an absence of a few months, I decided it was high time to get the Middle-earth collection out again. Paul W and I set up a game using my own Midgard rules (still in playtesting) with his Elven force vs my Orc host. Despite having a Balrog for a general AND assistance from a nine-year old throwing the dice, the Orcs got a whuppin' while trying to capture the Elven watchtower.

It was good fun getting another big battle in and we managed to play to a conclusion within two hours.
