Title: Battle of Dyrrhachium (1081)
Post by: armchairgeneral on July 04, 2021, 12:39:40 PM
Planning to refight this battle at 1/100 ratio in 28mm. I believe I have all the figures painted I need. I am just trying to find out more about the battle. I have John Haldon’s book and the Wikipedia page is quite good. Just wondered if anyone else has researched this battle and maybe done a map?

I can't say I have though it is a game that I am planning in the long term.

No maps but there's a great OOB bases on WAs but easily converted on Dave's Balkan Military history site:

Pics of a game also on the Glasgow and district site:

No probs mate. I'm sure I've seen one or two other Dyrrhachium games so it might be worth testing you Google Foo?
