With the British infantry finished for Minden, I've made a start on the Hanoverians. These are all Eureka 18mm figures with flags by Maverick Models:

They are lovely!! Always like seeing Hanoverians, just that wee bit more colourful than the Brits. :)

Cheers Jambo! Yes indeed. I think it's the lack of lace edging. It allows the facing colours to stand out more.

I've finished my Hanoverian infantry (for now, anyway - there will be more next year), along with some Hessians and Schaumburg-Lippe troops. It's going to be wall-to-wall 10mm ACW and scenery from now until Warfare in November:

Cheers! Yeah, I've already done around 100 Union troops this week... :? ZZZzzzzz...
It's worse. I've already got loads of ACW. I just need MORE. >:(

Thanks both. The set-dressing is actually my desk in work! :D
I chuck down my Tiny Terrain terrain cloth, then some Total Battle Miniatures village tiles and buildings, then a box of trees and pull down the window-blind to make a plain backdrop 'sky'. Only takes five minutes to set up, but does make the world of difference to my photographs. I covered the building models here: http://www.jemimafawr.co.uk/2021/02/23/some-new-buildings-total-battle-miniatures/
