Is old fartdom playing tricks with my memory here? I seem to recall at one time this Company's range of 20mm British Airborne figures was much bigger that today's. There was a range of Polish Paras in Berets, RA crews for the pack howitzer and heavy weapons crews both marching and deployed... I know this, I had some!
???

Nope, your memory is probably fine, you are just looking in the wrong spots. The Polish paras are under the Polish listing.

Airborne gun crews in the Artillery Crews section etc, etc.

Confusing aint it?

Thanks for that, now I'm wondering if they were SHQ figures I had all those years ago!
:?
-
Or Drew's Militia? They had a pretty extensive range, especially the Jeeps.

I've been told the figures I remember were from the FAA Range. Does anybody stock the figures in the UK, as I believe they are produced in the States?
???

It's many moons since I last re-visited my 20mm WW2 collection, and some things have come as a bit of a shock. I've found FAA figures have indeed deserted across the pond to the States, but are still thriving, although it'll cost twenty five quid in postage to bring any of 'em home! I inquired if they had a UK distributor, which they don't, but would like one. I got in touch with a couple here in Blighty to sound them out, and got an even bigger shock... they won't touch 20mm with a bargepole!
Seems 20mm is going the way of the Dodo, being replaced with 15mm Munchkin scale?
:'(

Thats strange as Newline design is heavily 20mm centric and Sean seems to be doing ok

Stonewall Figures were caught pirating FAA in the UK for a while (at the same time they were caught pirating AB Napoleonics), so be careful what you buy.
-
Dunno why you’d bother. The AB figures are the sculpting benchmark in that scale and readily available in the UK. The FAA ones should really only appeal to fans of 1980s/ early nineties sculpting or people untroubled by smearing vaseline across their bifocals. Christ! I still have memories of their ads in magazines all painted in a fashion that made them look like Skeletor.

I agree wholeheartedly but it it's a pain having to buy a full squad just because you need two extra Sten gunners.
