Thanks, E. Yes, APW is good gaming territory. As the AAR notes, the asymmetry of weapons and doctrine makes for interesting tactical challenges. There aren't that many battles but they make for nice scenarios. Koeniggraetz is a must-do, of course (which I've done several times). And we had fun refights of Nachod and Skalitz last year as a competition campaign between neighbouring clubs:
