Since my Google-fu failed me, anyone can point me towards some steam-ships (steam-frigates, or steam sloops) for 28mm gaming? Or if someone produced a kit to convert regular ships to steam-ships?
Thank you very much! (Piroscafo Lombardo from the Thousand Expedition for reference)

Artesia do some; exspensive and time consuming though :)

Steam ships for terrain, or for naval games?

Mainly as objective for land warfare missions as capture the ship or assaults from other ships/launches

Reviresco has this paper model with metal fittings. It's says 1/64th but I've used some of their other ship models with 28mm and they fit pretty well

I would suggest building smoothing to your ground scale. Otherwise a 200’ ship would be about 30 figures long!

I have built several models in 28mm "scale" over the years, I have sent out basic hull forms for free in the past. I would be happy to send something to you if you are in the CONUS . Check out some of my previous projects here https://antonswargame.blogspot.com/2018/11/acw-ironclads-perhaps.html (https://antonswargame.blogspot.com/2018/11/acw-ironclads-perhaps.html)
here is a Confederate ironclad from one of those basic hull forms (https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-At--yaMm8BU/W-JqUAfNdXI/AAAAAAAAP-I/YAdWBnHHdZk1AZO_szVilbzfkuZ_oQuvwCLcBGAs/s1600/20181106_224955.jpg)
