Title: 20mm Medieval Terrain?
Post by: Mr. White on 12 November 2021, 11:52:52 PM
I’ve found sources for decent post-Apoc and Asian 20mm buildings, but haven’t had a lot of luck with medieval.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Anyscale Models do some mediaeval stuff in 1/72. Mainly Scottish flavoured, but things like churches, hovels and towerhouses are probably fairly generic enough for a starting point anyway.

A few are available

Zvezda 1/72 models for castles
Fredericus Rex medieval range
https://www.fredericus-rex.eu/en/Scale-1-72-Figures-Buildings-Plants-Flag-s/Buildings-1-18/ (https://www.fredericus-rex.eu/en/Scale-1-72-Figures-Buildings-Plants-Flag-s/Buildings-1-18/)
Miniart Models
https://miniart-models.com/catalogue/categories/historical-miniatures-1-72/ (https://miniart-models.com/catalogue/categories/historical-miniatures-1-72/)

If you can pick up cheap 1/87th HO scale model railway Faller or  Noch that will work for late medieval with a few changes.

cheers
