Title: Cabin Fever! - Review series.
Post by: Battle Brush Sigur on November 28, 2021, 01:54:06 PM
Heyhey, here's the first article in a series of reviews I got lined up for this and the next two Sundays. The theme is 'sheds and cabins made of MDF'.

A tricky subject.

Today it's all about 4Ground's New France Pioneer's Cabin:

Why the hedge is this in this forums section? Well, I had no idea where to put it, and realistically these will mostly see use as terrain for Zombie gaming. Maybe some Black Ops. Who knows. A friend of mine also uses such buildings for his Fallout gaming, for which they're really well suited of course.

Anyway, I hope that you enjoy the review, and stay tuned for the next ones!

looks great, particularly like the added chopping block and wood pile - are they 4Ground too?

Thanks very much! The chopping block is from one of Mantic's terrain sets (I think it's the campside one) and the wood pile is just some toothpicks and some small twigs I chopped up. :)

Looks like a pretty good spot to hole up during the Zombie Apocalypse!

Heyhey, here's the latest review of sheds or shed-likes. This time I'm taking a look at Warbases' Potting Shed and Wood Store.

Hope you find the article interesting and useful! Also, happy second advent Sunday and be sure to lock the doors at nightfall, because it's Krampus night!

Righty-o, happy third Advent Sunday. And fittingly, here's the last review article in the miniseries about huts, sheds, shacks and cabins made from MDF. This time I'm taking a look at TTCombat's Grey Harbor House A:

This one's comparable in design (albeit modernized) to the 4Ground New France Pioneer's Cabin, so the last paragraphs in the article will compare those two a little. Hope you find the review interesting and helpful!

I hope to post one more MDF review this year, but it won't be a wooden cabin.
