Didn't know this was coming and I haven't seen anyone else mention it, but Mike "Gaslands Guy" Hutchinson has released a small supplement for his A Billion Suns starship minis game over on Drive Through RPG (and probably Wargames Vault, but I saw it on DTRPG first):

Appears to be more focused on actual combat than the original game, which makes me slightly more interested. Also cheap - it's one of those pay-what-you-want pdfs.
Anyone actually playing the core game these days? It didn't even spark around here, much less flash in the pan the way Gaslands did.

Interesting; I'll pick it up, even though I never got around to playing the base game after I got the book ::)
I did do a playtest game a couple of years back (cheers for that YPU ;) ), and I really liked the rules, which appear complicated, but after a couple of turns, it all falls into place pretty well and it's an enjoyable game overall :)
