After getting a psi-flash the Judge Dredd was being held captive, Psi Judge Echo and two street judges go to investigate the unlikely premonition (as Dredd is known to be visiting Luna City at this time).

Judges Gant and Vaughan accompanied Echo in breaching the service doors of the Burton Research Facility. They meet some resistance from the facility security personnel, which enables the director to escape.

Gant and Echo head towards her premonition location, only to find a bizarre hybrid abomination in the lab. The Martians were back in MC1 and they were trying to develop their own Judges as soldiers. Echo's pre-cog ability helped Gant overcome the 2 Martian guards and capture the project

Meanwhile Judge Vaughan discovered a dimension portal at the other end of the facility. There were already too many Martians to deal with and Vaughan was incapacitated by their counter-attack.

When Justice department brought in reinforcements, all traces of the portal and Judge Vaughan had disappeared....to be continued.
