Title: Looking for 15mm Belgian buildings and farms for Hundred days.
Post by: Old Contemptable on December 17, 2021, 06:32:32 AM
I have quite a few Tudor style houses but that style doesn't seem to be for Belgium. I have a couple of thatch roof farm buildings. Really want 15mm one story farm or home. I have all the big and historic buildings. I just need some filler. I have a few buildings from Hovel.

Tiger Terrain's range of Waterloo buildings is second to none, but their order books are presently full until 2022.

I recently discovered a 3D printing company called WarFayre, which seems to specialise in edifices from the Hundred Days.  They do most of the iconic farm complexes, including Gemioncourt and the Quatre Bras crossroads, and you can buy almost all of the farm buildings separately, so you can "re-use" them elsewhere.  There's a lovely vignette of the bridge at Wavre with two tall buildings, straight out of a contemporary painting, and the Mont St Jean Farm and Wellington's HQ buildings, plus selections of local shops and small houses that would have lined many of the main roads at the time.

Hope that helps.

Jens Najewitz produces an outstanding range of Napoleonic terrain for 3D printing, which can therefore be printed in a variety of scales including 15mm or 1/100. You can see the full range here: www.3dprintterrain.de.

If you don't have a 3D printer of your own, some of the buildings can be bought from licensed printers on eBay and elsewhere. These include WarFayre (https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/warfayre?), as mentioned by Baron von Wreckedoften above, and Highlands 3D Prints (https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/highlands3dprints?).

WarFayre currently appears to have more of the historic Waterloo buildings available for sale in 15mm, whereas Highlands 3D Prints offers 'French' buildings many of which can probably pass for Belgium in 1815.

I second Jemima Fawr's recommendation of Tiger Terrain, but as he says Tiger Terrain is not currently taking new orders.

Hovels buildings are nice too.  :)

Not sure how accurate you need them to be, but I downloaded a set of 15mm buildings for Normandy from Wargames Vault.  Some are meant for St. Lo or similar, but I’ve used the more rural buildings for everything from what they were meant for to the Vendee in 1793 to Ireland circa 1920.  The designer I think was David Geffen.

That looks like they have a seller's license from 3D Print Terrain.  If you have or know someone with a printer, you can buy the files.  Set 1 & 2 have the Hundred Days models:

Thanks - didn't realise that, or how much extra stuff they did!
