The Northman,new film out 2022,looks interesting,maybe a little overwrought,and a little Game of Frowns…Nevertheless  :)

It's by the same director as The Lighthouse, so it should have some very good characterization at least.

On the strength of The Witch and The Lighthouse (Robert Eggers previous films) I'm very excited for The Northman. Both were great films but with a lot of attention to period detail too.

The trailer looks quite good. Even includes Berserkers!

It has been a while since I've had some Dark Age
skirmish figures. Might be time to look into the
lead mountain again. :D

It does look excellent. I very much enjoyed The VVitch (I see some of the main cast from that have roles in this), and The Lighthouse looked good. The cast also bodes well.

I was also pleased to see Vikings wearing proper helmers and mail, not silly biker gear and rags. Colour me interested!

Look forward to this movie. Will definately help me to dig into the Viking leadpile!
