Title: Footsore Barons War size match?
Post by: PaulJB on 24 December 2021, 08:09:08 PM
I have a whole heap of the Barons War figures and I’m putt8ng them together to run the scenarios in Death and Taxes. I’m needing some more Sergeants with spear and shield as well as more villagers. Rather than get duplicate packs I thought I’d shop around for something similar, I’m liking the look of the crusader feudals, has anyone else tried these?

Thanks 8n advance and Merry Xmas.

Paul

For a start. Thank you for supporting the range! First have a look at the Footsore Normans. I sculpted those with the same armatures, so they will match.

All the best

Crusader feudals will  blend in perfectly, they are a good match as are Gripping Beast. The old Foundry peasants could be a touch on the small side. I freely mix them, but others might not. For civvies and non coms I don’t see that as a problem.

I love the barons war and Norman sculpts. The 1st crusade range from Perry Miniatures are the closest proportioned to them that I've found.
