Title: More Graham Turner WOTR paintings!
Post by: Charlie_ on January 01, 2022, 03:05:17 PM
Looks like Mr Turner has recently finished some fantastic new Wars of the Roses paintings.

Every new one of these shows all sorts of great details of the English arms and armour of the period, all painstakingly researched no doubt.

Details of all the paintings on his website: https://www.studio88.co.uk/acatalog/Original_Historical_paintings_by_Graham_Turner.html

Quite beautiful.  :-* :-* :-*

These were mentioned by someone who had seen the originals by one of the guys on The Plastic Crack Podcast (great listening when I'm painting).

Very tempted to buy a few prints  8)

He is a true talent. With the loss of Angus McBride, it's now only really now his or Peter Dennis' names that I look for when I see Osprey are releasing any new mediaeval works...
