And what are your planes for said perilous island?
-
...and what rules set are you using? What kind of scenarios?
Those look like great fun warbands to play...!
-
Good painting on all the factions, but especially the Renegade Legion figures from Artizan are in perfect colours.
Have some somewhere. Should paint...more...often...and resist to new ones......

Perilous Island is our in-house playtest campaign for a new pulp game we are developing. There are ten chapters (scenarios) linked together to form the Perilous Island story arc.
Here is a pic of some of the jungle pieces we've been using, with one of Perilous Island's terrors lurking in the background --

These are my attempts at carving my own moai-like statues out of some old styrofoam I had lying about --

I liberated these next two items from my daughter's toy box, and did a little extra work on them --

I kept this truck fairly plain so I could use it more easily in a variety of roles --

Great collection of miniatures, terrain and accessories so far!
:-*
-
Great looking minis and scenery!
I really like the foreign legion group, very inspiring
-
Some lovely figures and models. :-*
Paint jobs on the Dinos and the truck are outstanding :-* :-*
Is the truck a die cast?
-
The truck is from Blue Moon - Motor City USA: Series 3 ''Trucks'' - Short Bed Stake Truck.
It is mostly one piece of resin (body including fenders). If I remember correctly, I think it had about 14 assorted metal bits - wheels, axels, windscreen frame, roof, bumpers, headlights, etc,...
A nice little model. I was very happy with how it scales up next to my minis. Here is an older bench-pic --

Please do!
She was unstoppable the last time she took the table, but we are hoping to playtest the new allosaur rules again this weekend. So maybe I can get some action-shots posted by next Monday.
THANKS!
-
Thanks. :D
-
These are just fantastic - I love how you taken seemingly disparate figures and, through color, made them feel like part of a cohesive group - Wolf's men, especially.
The dinos are nice, too - there aren't a whole lot of kid toys whose scale translates nicely, but luckily dinosaurs are just big enough, exaggerateable enough, and numerous enough in toy form to be perfect for this sort of thing. Really nice paint jobs.

Here is a quick pic of some toys that are finally ready to leave the workbench --

(above - Singapore Smith and her colleagues meet with Blind Chief Aktuvuk outside of two traditional Bu'ai huts)
I'll try to get some better pics posted soon.
Thanks!

Those figures are painted quite well but I am also interested is seeing some more pictures of those huts. Did you make those yourself?
-
Oh these Figures are very nice painted ,good work .
please more :)
-
Great figures. Always exciting to see toys rather than figures made to fit the purpose. Really looking forwards now to hearing about the game. And yes, also curious about that hut.
Thankyou.
-
This gun looks to be a great one.
Can't wait to see more of the island's terrain.
Just :-* it!
-
Thanks guys!
Yes, the huts are scratch-built. I've been working on-and-off on these damn huts for way too long. I am happy with how they turned out, but even happier that they are finally done! :)

great stuff and well painted. Can't wait to see more
