Love the loads on the camels, mostly 'drab' as they should be without excessive splashes of color. And, of course, the painting is not drab at all just meaning more natural looking than sometimes we paint such items (guilty myself a time or two).

It was nice to revisit the CHasseurs d'Afrique in 28mm (and at a slightly later date) after doing a metric ton of them in 20mm for the Solferino diorama...
