Just to share with you that Iain, of Flags of War, has launched a small KS with models for the War of Austrian Succession. It is compatible with his Jacobite range, which, as you know, is sculpted by Nick Collier, as it is this one. It is a quick KS (only 10 days), with a realistic, low target. Iain intends to have the models shipped for April/May, as they are already sculpted. Personally, I know I should pass, but... Ah! What can I do if I am an addict? :'(

Annoyingly, Kickstarter is telling me they can't process my pledge.. doh!

Does anyone know if any of the new figures would
suit the German mercenaries Cumberland brought
over after Prestonpans?
Cumberland and 12,000 troops were recalled from Flanders, including 6,000 German mercenaries who arrived in Berwick-upon-Tweed a few days after Cope.[23] These were immediately available, having been captured at Tournai in June, then released on condition they did not fight against the French.[24]

To be honest, I think not. However there were Dutch troops in England, that had been released on parole by the French under the condition not to fight in the Continent. They were deployed in the Isles, but I don't remember that they saw combat.

Did you fix it? If not, I can ask Iain to contact you and see if he can help you to fix the problem.

Last 56 hours. The goal has been comfortably achieved. Personally, I will order models enough for a small Dutch brigade of 3-4 battalions, to reinforce my Pragmatic Army (8 Austrian battalions -already painted!- 4 Austrian squadrons; 6 Austrian guns; 7 British battalions -2 painted, the rest in process-; 4 British squadrons; 2 guns). With those I will have more than enough models for my project. I intend to use my Jacobites as their foes, while I paint the French.
