I love the camouflage pattern! It must be a pretty big model at 1/48.
-
Lovely work! :-*
-
Nice paint job.
-
That’s cool. :)
-
Thanks all, and yes it’s huge :)
-
Very nice! 8)
I've only seen these in high altitude/interceptor colourschemes, á la F-14s in the early eighties, with very high vis squadron markings. But this muted, very low altitude ground-pounder camouflage works equally well!
Is this a one-off, or will it be part of larger project? I mean; Macross in 1/48? :D

Great stuff 8)
Zaku! Zaku! Zaku!
Ah shit, wrong franchise lol

Wow! Amazing work that, Blackwolf. :o

Stunning Guy 8)

Thanks all :)
I’m afraid I saw the kit on some website, found it available in Australia, you know what happened next ;D
It’s not for any project, certainly not a Macross one in 1/48 lol, that would just be silly ahem.
Deaothar; all the versions on the ‘net are rather boring, and I’ve been reading rather a bit about ‘planes during WWII, especially noticing how weathered they can be, a lot of modellers don’t weather their aircraft enough :o. It will add to my growing collection of space vehicles, and ‘planes in general, a very eclectic mix :)

Really impressive work.
I run Mecha games in 1/56, but the Macross toys and models we use are technically closer to 1/72 or so. Doing the game in proper 1/48 would be MASSIVE.
Will be looking forward to your future work.

Superb paintwork there - the camouflage colours really suit it.

Think it's finished, here's a final WIP photo:

Wonderful painting. I really like all the exposed aluminium on the leading edges of the fuselage and wings- fantastic stuff.
-
I’ll echo that - the weathering looks excellent. She looks like she’s been through a lot, and survived.

Thanks fellas :)
I’ll do some proper photos (not with my phone) tomorrow.
