Need a seated pilot or two for my current spaceship build.
https://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=70480.240.
What's out there?
28mm and unhelmeted ideally, but will consider helmeted and/or 25-32mm especially if reasonably priced. If I can't find anything, I'll just order a couple of bike drivers from Denizen as I have in the past...

...but I want to try something new.
Might be interested in cockpit chairs also and a pilot molded into a seat would be fine

Anvil Industries might have something suitable.

We have some Jeep Pilots in our Alien Invader jeeps?

Not currently available separately, but I could sort something out if they are any use.

2nd dynasty has several different models that can be 3d printed if you have the means both suited and unsuited.
-
You could try pilots for real world aeroplanes, most big model shops have detail up parts which include pilots. I’ve done it myself :)

Just wonder how hard it would be to convert something like a plastic StarGrave mini to be seated. Alternatively, taking WWII seated miniatures and making them look sci-fi?
-
Thanks everyone.
Haven't able to find anything on Anvil. I'll look at some of my plastics and see what might have potential. I think I saw a sprue of some 2 Maelstrom Edge figures and there's alot of other stuff as well I could pull from.
Those crooked Dice drivers are pretty cool. A bit more pulp than I was thinking but perhaps with some additional bits.
I considered the 1:48 military figs but I think I want something deliberately sci-fi for this one.
I found these figs on etsy https://www.etsy.com/au/listing/1120334177/type-s-crew-seated-pose-sci-fi-space
and a matching seating section here: https://www.etsy.com/au/listing/1027251871/transport-delta-individual-interior.
Guess I gotta decide if I want to start chopping plastic or pony up a few bucks.

I don't know how much help it is to you, but should you not be able to locate any suitable pilots, I once converted one of EM-4's scifi troopers into a pilot, and it was remarkably easy to do. Cheap too...

That's my kind of cheap!
I found some seats and I have the other parts, but I'm not totally sold on any of the options for pilots. Plus I really want to have this finished so I can move onto my next project that I'm really excited about. So, I'm going to build up the cockpit/bridge and leave it pilotless until I settle on a pilot that I'm really excited about or I get the urge to build a custom pilot.
Thanks again for all the advice.

Those are nice! Price is right and I like the fact that there are male and female pilots seated and standing. A whole 4-person crew for 8 bucks is quite the deal. I've had good experience with Recreational Conflict in the past painting up a set of their Haz-Mat troops which were simple and easy to paint, but look good on the table.
Maybe I will go ahead and order some figs now..

Bought 'em!
I saw that Recreational Conflict had service dogs and were selling Stargrave plastics by the sprue. Been wanting to see those plastic figs, but don't need a lot of them, so I couldn't resist the chance. Bought a sprue of Crew and Mercs.
Will post pics of the Lead Bones pilot when they arrive. I'm curious to see how large they are. IIRC, the Hazmat figs were around 30mm. I assume the Stargrave Sprues have already been well covered here.
Thanks again to everyone who made suggestions. Much Appreciated!
