I’ve just posted a new blog entry on the latest command stand I’ve created for my Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth 1620s force. This one represents Mikołaj Abramowicz or Abrahamowicz. I’ve used 28mm Warlord, TAG, Foundry and 1898 Miniatures on the base. More details and pics here: https://theviaregia.blogspot.com/2022/03/commander-mikoaj-abrahamowicz.html

Very nicely done. The pointing figure and the mounted figure shielding his eyes go very well together.

Thanks, Paul 👍. I was looking for an excuse to use the TAG dismounted cavalryman, and the Warlord general figure just seemed to work so well :D.

Funnily enough, I was working on the Haselrig figure myself when you posted your pictures. I'm planning that he forms part of a new TYW cuirassier unit. He's a nice sculpt, and in a bit different pose from most mounted figures you see in 3/4 armour.

Yes, Warlord have got a nice range of different command figures from across their ECW and TYW ranges. Also some nice options in 3/4 armour from 1898. I feel almost spoilt for choice … almost :D
Lovely :)
Thanks, Oshiro 👍
