Mark Copplestone has created another barbaric masterpiece for Barbaric Splendor Miniatures:

Very cool 8)
How does he match up size wise to the original sculpts?
-
The miniature is still in transit to me, but it should match up perfectly like the first one he did for me!
-
Very nice.
How about compared to the old grenadier? I've got a nig army of them that could do with expanding

If you mean the Fantasy Warrior barbarians, that is what I think was being referred to in the second post - he should fit in with them perfectly, but I will get a picture when he arrives. Thanks for the interest!
-
Cool. I thought you were just referring to your other one :)
Very true to the fantasy warriors range that one is.
-
Very nice! :-* I, too, can picture him in the front rank of my Grenadier ones. Just picked up some Copplestone cave men and women to augment them as well, so have had them on my mind.

Looks great. Big fan of the old Grenadier range, and his sculpting in general!

Running a pre-order for the new one (Torloch) now.
-
Very cool.Do you have a link to the preorder?

That figure reminds me a lot of one of the figures in Fantasy Warriors pack 1431 (Barbarian heroes), namely the one with a fur cloak and huge axe resting on shoulder. This almost looks like a bit more active version of the same figure.

Pre-order has already run its course, but the miniature can be ordered here:

Indeed it does! Frankly I just Mr. Copplestone free reign but we did discuss this kind of being an update of an older sculpt!
