I spent the last month and a half painting up all the miniatures from the freshly delivery Core Space: First Born Kickstarter.
Again there were some very different sculpts to paint, which is always refreshing, and the quality of the miniatures has definitely improved (though I had no complaints with the initial miniatures).
More images and words from me over on my blog:

great paint-jobs :-*
really interesting to read on the blog about your zenithal approach, and then the light sand drybrush.

Cheers, the dry brush at the end is very subtle but just adds a pop to the miniatures and I'll be using this technique going forward.

Fantastic. Love all those vibrant colours.

These are so great. A very restrained colour scheme that is just perfect! I missed the kickstarter and I am just working through the first game at the moment. I would be interested in getting your thoughts on First Born when you have played a few games. I mostly play solo. Once again, great work!

We haven't got First Born on the table just yet (having just finished a lengthy campaign recently) but as it's solo/co-op focused it should be interesting to see how that plays out.
