Title: New Coastal fort build
Post by: Smokeyrone on 10 April 2022, 08:50:03 PM
Just spackle and painted the tower and front wall.  I'll darken it, might make it more of a tan?

This is meant for my " Suakin" style small Nile port and town.

Need to make stairs in back.

Also thinking of changing roof from slant
ed tile to straight, to match the desert style buildings.

Looks good. Think it will be better with the flat roof but your project.

That is a useful and lovely-looking piece. Do like the brickwork and realistic-looking thickness of the walls.

I like how you have different colours for the daub (not sure what they call it in North Africa); it looks like the main photo from the Wikipedia page for Suakin.

Lol, it DOES look like the seawall system on Suakin.

Pure luck, I never saw these pics before.

Damn, I'm good, even when I didn't mean to be.  :)
