The new Warzone Kickstarter begins in about a month. It's going to be skirmish to start (new-school skirmish, meaning something like 6-15 models or so), and the minis are going to be Siocast (which, with tin prices forever increasing, will probably be the future of the hobby until 3D printing is perceived as easy enough).
What I've seen online so far looks promising, even if people were really harsh on the painter they got to paint a few prototypes.

I hope it goes well for them. I have no interest in the "game" as such but would like to see the new rules they bring out.

Will be interesting to see the miniatures range on offer.Seen some painted figures so far which look nice.
More interested in the New Chronopia which is on KS now.Always liked the setting and different takes on races.

Its live! Seems like a very safe and limited release. Which is good. The razide looks great, unfortunately I got all the razides I need. But the other figures looks nice too. Very bulky compared to the Warzone Resurrection.

That, and quite a bit! A nice match of the classic aesthetic with modern proportions and detail styles. I'll be looking forward to that!

Back when Prodos were running things I defended their choice to go more realistic and thinner because I thought their concepts looked cool. But these look cool too. And swords and guns breaking wont be a problem on these dudes.
Only worry is that this will only appeal to nostaligc fans and not draw in others though. I would like some feedback from people who see this with out nostalgia goggels on. I like them, got in on two boxes level. Probably going to go with Imperial and Necromutants.

I'm thrilled that this is funded already. I'm also glad that they are doing this campaign in a limited way instead of promising the moon. It will mean less funding in the short run, but it will also mean steady, well-tested growth in the long run.

Maybe change the title to kickstarter funded now?
