Having noticed a comment on Sir_Shvantselot's Burrows and Badgers thread about a new Kickstarter, I thought I'd see what information was out there. As a non Facebook user I ended up finding a few articles on Beasts of War which showed some upcoming images of some of the new figures. I have to say, I'm very impressed. It looks like the Kickstarter will be late May, or so, according to the article. I'm not going to be able to resist these.
I hope Oathsworn don't mind me putting these here, but I'm sure others will be interested in knowing about the new releases.

They look brilliant Elk, thanks for the heads up :) Yet to take the plunge, seriously tempted.

They do have a definite appeal 8)

lol If you do I will ;D

lol
Just thinking they might be good for a FFoL Fantasy gang...
-
They'd be perfect for that.

I don't mind at all - I'm always grateful for anyone helping get the word out! :D
The KS will probably be late May/early June, as I'm waiting on moulds being made and tested successfully first; i just want to be sure we can actually produce the stuff we'll be offering before we ask people for money...

Wow, lots of great detail!

The painting on that shield is just :-*

I love their stuff, have a fair few painted, others waiting and a wishlist on my desktop. Most will find life in my Rangers of Shadow Deep project but I do have the B and B rulebook too and will be looking for suitable victims at the club soon.

Excellent! I do enjoy the blend of historical periods in the range, it shouldn't work but it just does.
-
I will throw something else in. The rules are really good.
Easy to learn and it has system so that small animals still
have a chance of taking out a huge animal.
-
Any idea what the theme of this KS will be?
Also, if I buy the core rulebook will I be able to use animals from the new KS?

There will be three sets - City Watch (armoured fighty types), Street Gang (Clothing, light weapons) and Townsfolk (mostly NPC-ish types).
Yes, all the animals in this KS have stats etc in the core rulebook. I expect the Watch minis will show up in a lot of Royalist Warbands, and the Street Gang ones to end up in a lot of Rogue bands. :)

Thanks. I'll be keeping an eye on the Kickstarter.
Oh, can new warbands from this KS, and other new ones like the necromancer group from the last KS, take part in that two-player Warren Percy Affair campaign?

I have a sense it is like Peaky Blinders/Gangs of New York…

Yes, apart from the undead stuff (unless you just proxy them as the living versions!) - although there will be specific rules for Witch Hunters and Necromancer bands coming soon. Trial versions of those Warbands are already in our Oathsworn Journal pdfs.
The best place to keep up with this stuff is the B&B Facebook Group, if you use FB:
Burrows & Badgers: Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/groups/burrowsandbadgers)

Honestly, I've never seen either of them! My impression is that they're more modern, cars and machine guns and stuff like that?
I tend to pinch clothing and armour etc from pretty much all historical periods for B&B, but I think cars would be a bit too much.

I don't use FB, but where are the Journal PDFs and which one has the necromancer rules? Thanks!

If you go to the Downloads section of the Burrows & Badgers website (https://burrowsandbadgers.com/), they're all in there. Just scroll along.
The latest version of the Necromancy rules is in issue 4.

I saw that this should be launching next week (Tuesday?). Looking forward to seeing the miniatures.
