Title: geekvillain terrain mats for peninsular wars - advice sought

Looking for some advice - and maybe some pictures

I think I've narrowed it down to either Rocky Grass or Sicily mats but i'm wondering if either suit 18mm scale better?

I recently got the Rocky Grass with Blue Sea on the flip side.  The rocks are in some cases quite large.  My idea will be to put lot's of drop terrain down anyway.

I don't think the question is scale but rather aesthetics and I am very happy with the mat as is.  Attached are pics with some 15mm figures.  I guess YMMV.

N.B.  The colours are quite washed out in the pics; the green is much greener.  The Geek website has the colours much more accurately

And a follow up:  curse this site for turning them sideways  lol.  Also, the grain of the mat is not nearly so obvious IRL.

Thanks for the pics - I assume thats the cloth rather than fleece one, I can't see a double sided fleece one?

I think I'd prefer it if it was more sandy than green but then I too will be puting down a fair bit of terrain

I'm also now looing at their countryside mat too

You're right.  This one is cloth and no, I don't think the fleece ones come double sided.

Double sided is a cool idea

I'd be intered in one if they ever make a Farm/Rocky Grass but alas even the one you have is out of stock
