Starting to sort my DAK
Perry's infantry
Rubicon Panzer IIIE
SdKfz 231 drawn and printed
Horch 1a AA print drawn by Night Sky Miniatures.
-
Do like your Schwerer PanzerspƤhwagen these SdKfz 231s evidently did very well in North Africa. Seeing what is laying in the background you have a few more in the pipeline... Do keep 'em coming - look forward to seeing the Panzer III.
-
I do have a few 8 rads...
-
Lets get a closer look at that infantry
-
Looking good!
-
Very nicely done!
-
Thanks all :)
Smaller child has caused significant delays but I've started on the other vehicles too. I should do the infantry but they are easier to do while on conference calls ;)
-
Most excellent Rich.
-
Lovely Panzer III - keep 'em coming... what rules are your planning on using?
-
The aim is the Bolt Action Welsh Open in September
The current list is:
2nd Lt and assistant
3x 7 man Here with LMG
3x 8 man Here with SMG
AT rifle
Medium MG
Medium mortar
Horch 1a with Flak 38 20mm
SdKfz 231
Panzer IIIE
Though I'll have enough for a full CofC platoon and a good amount of support units too

Some pics
My first DAK infantry and committing heresy by basing vehicles
-
Lovely work there. A hearty "Well done!" all around...
-
Lovely work.
Given it's the desert and not many jarring changes of underlying surface, I think vehicle basing is quite sound and no heresy at all.
