Hello everyone,
I'm looking into getting into some Zona Alfa. I am considering using some of the sculpts off the Copplestone Castings Future Wars line. I understand they are a little chunkier, more classic look. I was curious how they scale up however, as some sites have them listed as 25mm. Does anyone have an idea or pictures of how they stack up against a generic 28mm miniature?
Also, I would love some recommendations for places I might be able to pick up some suitable mutants/monsters/horrors of the zone?
Many thanks in advance, fellas!

It won't let me add the photos directly, but here's a link to two of the figures with a ruler, and compared to some of my other modern figs (sorry, the bases were different thicknesses, but tried to equal them out with padding). The company names show up in the photos' info.

For zone creatures, I'd check Etsy for 3D prints, Mantic's Deadzone Plague force, and Reaper.

I mix Copplestone, Hasslefree, Warlord plastics, Spectre, Crooked Dice, Mantic (ghouls etc) and many more - just about anything that fits really. For example Frostgrave Cultists with Bolt Action heads armed with Bolt Action and Project Z weapons.

So really you are only restrained by your imagination! Do a search on this site foe "zona" and you will see lots of inspiration.
As for monsters I use a lot of plastic D&D figures, plastic toys, fantasy, scifi, post apocalypse figures and monsters.

Would be fine though the Neo-Sovs are very chunky. All others are fine. Could consider also EM4 / Forlorn Hope as they are sculpted by Mr Copplestone.

Here's a link to some other comparison shots. Sorry to say I didn't think of Copplestone figs at the time. I'd say they're on par with The Assault Group figs if that helps.
