Title: Saw palmettos/Florida scrub terrain builds
Post by: Smokeyrone on 20 June 2022, 01:19:30 AM: I am completing my "Shadow over Sebastian" TSATF meets Lovecraft setup, 10+ years in the making.

Since a unit of Seminoles is in the game, and I have two 20 man units of Maroons and crimiNoles (it's a Canes thing) and Miamis (daughter is 1/4 Miami, 1/4 Cherokee), I am doing terrain that will work for 1890s Sebastian AND 2nd Seminole War. Heck, it'll work now, it's my backyard.

My take on saw palmetto. Still finishing it up, but this is the basic style.

I need scrub pines. Gonna have to scratchbuild, I think, as they are not made by anyone. (Long, branchless trunk, and, well, scrubby foliage on top)

Suggestions? I thing the palmettos work?

Palmettos look the business.

The palmetto are the treetops of plastic cabbage palms, 30 for 14 bucks on Amazon. I'll post link

All my stories start with "Florida man..", but lately it's not me. :)

Yes, Sword and the SpongeBob, and Shadow over Sebastian (tsatf with fishmen)
