I've got a few sprues of them laying around, milling about in my long and winding painting queue. Hmmm... :D
Would you happen to know if they pair well with Spectre: Operations miniatures, scale wise?
I immediately though Miami Vice before reading your comment. lol
Amazing how you got the 2 white stripes on that guys pants. :o :o
Are those decals on the back of the helmets or were those numbers hand painted? Those are decals, I took them from 1:72 German truck model, these are supposed to be the numbers on the license plate. :)
Very nice (and timely as I think WI/MW have the sprue on the front cover soon). Thanks! I was thinking about that, but I already have 20 of them so I guess thats enough for now :D
Odd question for you....any chance you can compare one of your standing guys up with other ranges/genres? GW imperial guard or Stargrave guys or especially bolt action guys????? Looking to see how kitbashable these guys are. You sold me on them.
Great job on those Spec Ops fellers. I'm still pondering what I'm gonna do with mine...
Your camo and jeans are excellent -- so realistic!

Looks really great, especially the shades of the bald guy.

Nothing comes between Max and his Calvins*. :D
Nice paint work on those figures. :-* :-*
* OK, so you need to be of a certain age to get that joke.
I don’t really get that one :) but thanks anyway :)
I keep meaning to make an arms cache but always end up using any spare weapons I have for conversions.
Very nice! :-* :-* Adnan Kashoggi would be proud. :)

Making my own is on my to do list. I think I'll mix in some late WW2 spare weapons. I've got more of these in my bits-box than modern ones and understand that these have been used in numerous conflicts since WW2 even up to the present day.
Very nice but the L86 is more commonly used as a marksmans gun (longer barrel and bipod, generally fitted with a suitable scope), not as a SAW, which role it wasn't really good at. You'll probably need something else as a SAW for your squad - was there also an RPK on that sprue?
But apart from that tiny quibble, these are very nice figures you've got, most impressive.
Or start asking around - with the new Vietnam plastic ranges out someone may have spare Vietnamese RPK's or US M60's going spare? It's an idea.
Any more ideas how to get single weapons like SAW's?
