Here's a recent Burma game, pitting an isolated company of Indian Paras against the tip of the Japanese advance on Kohima:

Cheers! Yes, I think that Phil was perhaps a little impatient to get to grips with the Paras! lol
The MMG section firing on fixed-lines did a lot of damage. However, if the Japanese had manoeuvred to the right, thus forcing the MMGs to switch to point-fire in order to defend themselves, they would have lost that fixed-lines template, which would have made things somewhat easier. They also really suffered for the lack of effective fire-support.
