This is the first of a 3 part diorama of Morgan's Riflemen at Saratoga.
This first piece shows American sharpshooter, Tim Murphy, being ordered by Morgan to scale a tree and to shoot British General Frazier.
Whether it was actually Murphy who shot Frazier is open for discussion.
But it was certainly one of Morgan's sharpshooter who made the shot that killed Frazier.
As usual, Morgan was right. Without Frazier's gallantry on the field, the British ran out of steam.
The second and third pieces will show fighting in the forest which happened at the first engagement.

Here are a few WIP photos for people who enjoy those type of things.
I do have more of these WIP's.
If enough people request them, I will add them.

This is the second Morgan piece depicting Morgan's men firing from the forest at the British.

These guys look good, too. Nice part of your collection!

I wonder what the ultimate fate of your collection might be one day? Hope you have a museum lined up to get your collection one day - and a good museum, too. Or some one lined up to buy it whole! (Not me, alas.)
Very nice as always.
Would be cool to see a few photos of the entire collection all lined up on a table top field of battle. Probably a major project to do that. Still, be nice to see.

15's, I have a 3 year old Grandson. Hopefully, it will all pass to him.
If not, it will probably end up in the rubbish!
My wife would be delighted to chuck the whole thing out!

This is the third and final piece in the Morgan/Saratoga hat trick.
I do have some shots of all 3 pieces together, that I will post later on.
