I recently completed some medieval Irish just in time to take part in my first games of Never Mind The Billhooks...late to the party but thoroughly enjoyed it! Here's some pics and there's a full write up on my blog if you're interested,

Great painting, you've done the sculpts justice. Nice scenic backdrops too!
-
Looks fab James :-*
Definitely one for the future!
-
Beautifully done!

Got the start of a great looking Irish war bad. The Kern look great and I love the work and extra details you added to their Leine.

Beautiful looking game and really great Irish :-*

Great paintwork, the contrast paints for the Léine are a really good idea!

Really nice job.

And what an excellent day it was! I can heartily reccomend the Billhooks BASH as a fun, informal ,friendly event in the company of the games author and several genial gamers of like mind! It's all about the fun! cAnd it doesn't even matter if you have never played before, the game is easy to pick up and the only skill required is luck!

I'd love to attend as I have read nothing but good things about the Billhooks events.
Maybe the next one :)

Me too! I'm working very hard on it :)

Never too late - lovely minis and write-up and do like the addition of the Irish. Been thinking of doing some dark age Irish but seeing this might go Medieval instead.
Thank you for sharing.

I just ordered that Celtic Warriors book thanks to you. :D

I loved all the pictures from the Bash. One day I hope to get there. That's a very nice banner with your Irish too. Now I'm going to have to add one to my Saga Irish :P

Good to hear - it was a fun day out. The Celtic banner is a repurposed drawing by George Bain, master of Celtic art construction! Not strictly 15th century but looks appropriate.

Yeah, I would buy just about any book with McBride artwork.
