Title: Long John Silver in 18mm
Post by: NickNascati on September 21, 2022, 12:43:37 AM
All,
My humble attempt at Long John Silver as portrayed by Robert Newton.  The figure is an 18mm Blue Moon Sleepy Hollow civilian.  I removed one leg, added a crutch out of wire, and created a parrot.

That's cool.

I know I have a peg-leg pirate or three and other pirates with parrots in 15/18 mm (Peter Pig, I think, but I have evrybody's pirates in 15/18 mm and bought them 10 and a lot more years ago so who knows).  Not sure if I have a peg-legged pirate with a parrot though.  Maybe?

Now, how about some pointers on how to convert a figure to Zorro!?  lol. (mounted and foot!)

Wow!  That’s sweet!  And I see I’m not the only one buying washers by the box.

Fifteens, probably not too hard, just need the right raw material.
