Title: Battle of Mortimer's Cross at The Other Partizan 2022
Post by: James Morris on October 10, 2022, 09:58:10 PM
Just back from a grand day out at Partizan pushing 900+ figures around a 12 x 5' table.  Great fun and a historic result, albeit a nail-biting finish!

Full game report and more pics are here: https://mogsymakes.net/2022/10/10/the-battle-of-mortimers-cross-at-the-other-partizan-2022/ (https://mogsymakes.net/2022/10/10/the-battle-of-mortimers-cross-at-the-other-partizan-2022/)

Your table looks amazing.  The river is really well done.

What a fantastic looking game. I'm keen to have a look at your Midgard rules too. I've been looking for a decent set of big battle rules that can be used for fantasy.

Cheers, thank you! I will post as soon as I have news on the availability of Midgard.

It certainly did 8)
While I sympathise with packing away 900+ figures, hopefully there’ll be another big game next year?

Nice looking game. Funnily enough I drove through Mortimer's Cross at lunchtime today, on my way back home from a local walk! There is still a mill there, though the current one dates from about 1750..

Fab!  We weren’t sure on the provenance of the mill but it’s one of those nice features that adds some period feel to the scene.
