I recently received and rapidly painted up a very useful building from Fubar Design off of evilBay. It is the kind of commercial/government building that can be used in various situations. I am working with James from Oshiro to get some signs designed and cut that will allow the building to appear in different settings. Right now I plan for it to be a Mantetsu (South Manchuria Railroad) building and the Port OPS/Customs building in the port of Amoy. Perhaps later it will be found on the San Francisco waterfront.

Looks good :)

That is a handy looking general purpose building - what is it made from?
-
Very good looking all-purpose building - looking forward to seeing the signs on it!

Now that is a useful building Lon 8) 8)
-
Thanks fellas. Fred, it is a 3d printed resin building.
-
Very cool. Do you have a link to it?

Nice! The odd ridge thingies in front of the doors that look a bit like nascent bike racks are a bit weird though. I'd be tempted to snip those off.

Hi Lon, you've done a nice job painting this, I like the way you managed to get the cement showing between the bricks. looks good.
Re the raised sections in front of the doors, what do you think they're supposed to be, I'm curious.
Look forward to seeing it in a game. :)

Thanks fellas.
Carlos, I felt the same way at first but they have kind of grown on me as a textural element. John, I am really not sure what they are supposed to represent but I have made a command decision that they represent mud scrapers to clean off your boots. Woe be on you whoever tracks mud into the Mantetsu office. The stern man in the corner has a fresh supply of rattan staves to correct such actions.

cracking! Chinese laundry (Shirts, money, drugs, etc)?

Steve,
As you know from the reports in the Pink, the Chinese Laundry Association has a long running fight with the KKK in the Southern U.S. They have to train somewhere.
