...ah yes, those were the days! Panther Piss Whiskey and the women!Indeed, but, rough as we were, a real lady could still wheel her baby-buggy across Main Street and hardly get shot at at all…. :D
In the Mexican Quarter, the Tequila Bandidos are posing for one of these new-fangled daguerreotypes. Now they are a fine-lookin’ bunch of Hard Hombres…..!

A. Lovely town you have there. I'm sure it's quiet and peaceful... 8)
B. Those Tequila Banditos look like they've had their share of tacos, too... :D
C. As for the 3 chaps on the couch, well what is there to say..... ;D
Thanks, CapnJim. As regards the Three Amigos on the couch, what can you say? One of them doesn't even seem to own any shoes!
Dictionary optional titling?

Given that the names on the shirts were not swapped to raise confusion and instead really indicate who is who, I'm rather shocked that I seem to have a twin in Devon I didn't know about...! :o
I'm glad that at least that one is capable to afford some shoes obviously. ;)
Devon? Why, that's my ancestral homeland on my father's side. Winkleigh and Chulmleigh to be exact...Oh, oh - Chumleigh is but a pasty lob from the Mad Lord’s seat…!

Michi, having made this dramatic revelation, we now need some photographic evidence to connect you with your long-lost twin!
Definitely twins separated at birth!! lol lol
Here comes proof from the good ole days in the Imperial forces...

I expect you're immensely relieved to be the twin of the good looking one of the Much Piddling Triumvirate and not the Hobbit with the bare feet. 8) 8)
Seems to me you are going to need some appropriate bath house ladies for that building.
Isn't there a model out there somewhere of a cowboy in bath with a lady - or is that just a scene from a variety of movies? For sure on the latter, not so sure on the former. Favorite latter would be Paint Your Wagon with Lee Marvin's character and some erstwhile 'young' lady floating down the river at the demise of No Name City. A runner up, but not second, would be Two Mules for Sister Sara (I think).

How exactly will those 2 chairmen carry Dr. Manchu up those stairs.
Eureka Miniatures make the bathing gent with a young lady standing in the bath wrapping herself in a towel.

Is the good mortician's wife named Morticia? :D. And, is he a bigamist or is that his mother-in-law? lol
Like his slogan, reminds me of our adolescent fun when we used to randomly answer our phone (back in the day before push button dialing and long before cell phones) with, "Greentree Mortuary, you stab 'em, we slab 'em." And, yes, we sometimes got in trouble for it - but I'm pretty sure after our scolding the adults turned away with smiles on their faces.
Thanks, Rui and Doug. He’s a dashed handsome looking chap, isn’t he? Keeps himself in shape as well.

I'd love to get a 'closer' look at Hog Thief Bend
I will have to consult with Doug ex-em4 as to the relationships with his staff. I don't want to make a faux-pas here! ;)

I'd say that they might have been the inspiration for the rock band Mötley Crüe.
And if not, well, they should have been. Not only do they fill that role, they overflow it. Just sayin'
The lady on the left with the exaggerated shoulders is, in fact, Seymour Koch and the photographer has snapped him whilst he is indulging in his after hours hobby.
The other, rather severe looking lady, is Mr d’Emfore’s fiancé. They’ve been engaged for 17 years and the bunch of keys she is carrying may offer a clue as to why they are still together despite strong rumours that for sixteen years and six months, D’Emfore has been trying to end the arrangement.
One needs a slew of wagons to make a thriving old west town appear to be, well, thriving. Now you only need at least a half dozen more!
Tickle McScrotum eh…? Any relation?

You have also absolutely convinced me to go with clear bases for my western figures (and S W Legion)! Well done! Thank you for sharing!
Not much has happened in Hog Thief Bend for quite a while. But now, the steamer company is operating in town (the unpainted building behind the steamer) and a paddle steamer has docked, business may soon pick up!
