Title: [Old News?] Lead Adventure Miniatures' New Home
Post by: Participant-Observer on 23 October 2022, 11:03:09 PM
[Apologies if this is old news but I see a couple of threads where this was never resolved (and I see that Magister Militum is having supply problems).]

TMP lists Lead Adventure Miniatures' new home as miniaturicum.de:

http://theminiaturespage.com/man/leadadventure/

And here's the whole range:

https://www.miniaturicum.de/Lead-Adventure-Miniatures_1

I must admit that I was starting to get "little worried," so I'm quite happy to finally find this!

Well I for one am glad to know they are still available somewhere, thanks.  :)

My schoolboy German is sadly not up to the task, however, are they still willing to post to the UK or have we ruined that, too?

There's a translate button top right.

I think they only ship to Europe. I know that when I tried to get stuff to Australia I couldn't.  :'(

Gah! The lack of shipping outside of Europe is ... vexing. I wonder if I can persuade one of my US online suppliers (e.g., Brigade) to carry their ranges ...

Ooooh even these ones which were OOP for a long time (I believe because of copyrights and such?):

Indeed, miniaturicum.de are notorious for lack of communication. You order, pay and hope for the best because they will not respond to queries.

No shipping outside of Europe contradicts what they have on their info page :?

It's good to see those post-apocalyptic models are still available.

I've purchased stuff from Miniaturicum before and I'm in Canada. That said, it's been a few years since I last did so.

This has not been my experience of dealing with them at all. I've placed two orders in the last 6 months with  good communication.

In my first order one of the blisters was missing a figure, which was sorted with a little delay, as I feel it's a bit of a one man show and he had Covid, but the communication was there.

On my last order I'd forgotten to include a blister, which I communicated to them and they happily added it to my order after they'd sent me a paypal request.

Here in Spain, I normally get all my stuff through Goblintrader and they've always been great, but not even they will allow me add things to an order once it's gone through.

So thumbs up for Miniaturicum from me
