This is a fairly obscure unit, being raised by the Archbishop-Elector of Mainz at Austrian expense, for service with the Austrian army. Like the more famous Wurzburg 'Red' Regiment, it often gets described as a regiment of the Reichsarmee, but wasn't raised as such, even though it did eventually end up assigned to the Reichsarmee. Obscure or not, those chaps sure look good. I'm sure they will acquit themselves well on the field of battle...

Thanks fellas. Yeah, definitely 'obscure' but at a load of significant battles at the same time! :D Definitely a handy unit to have, even if the uniforms might be wrong...
They could also double up as Blau-Wurzburg, or vice-versa.
