Title: Identification of Miniatures, fantasy
Post by: Tapir on October 31, 2022, 05:16:46 PM
Hey, new poster here, so I hope I’ve posted in the right place.

So I found some old miniatures in the loft, I used to play with these as I kid before I knew what they were. I’ve managed to identify some myself which aren’t in the picture. Although most are damaged, I am curious to see where they came from. The ones I know of are from Warhammer and Citadel if that helps.

If anyone recognises them, I would love to know!
Thanks in advance.

1 is old Citadel; a viking beserker or some such. 90% sure that Wargames Foundry have him now. Sadly I haven't a clue on the rest!

1 is a Citadel Viking, as v_lazy_dragon said.

2 is a very odd old Citadel chaos warrior (a C35 knight of chaos (http://solegends.com/citc/c035chaoswarriors/index.htm)).

3 is a Citadel night elf (http://www.miniatures-workshop.com/lostminiswiki/index.php?title=Speciality_Sets_%28Citadel%29#SS3_.28v1.29_Night_Elf_Patrol). (Vard Demonswain)

4 is a Citadel cleric (a C03 Citadel cleric (http://solegends.com/citc/c003clerics/index.htm), to be precise).

5 is a Citadel medieval crossbowman (http://solegends.com/citc/c026menatarms/index.htm) (currently in production at Foundry (https://www.wargamesfoundry.com/collections/men-at-arms/products/med117-crossbowmen-marching)).

6 is a Citadel C06 Northern dwarf (http://www.miniatures-workshop.com/lostminiswiki/index.php?title=Image:Citadel-C06-ND-09.jpg).

Agree on 4
5 might be a Citadel crossbow man, can’t quite tell what is on his far side

Most look to be late 80s probably C series - lets see who finds them on SoL first!

4 - C03 Cleric http://www.solegends.com/citc/c003clerics/index.htm

5 - C26 Men at Arms http://www.solegends.com/citc/c026menatarms/index.htm 4th picture down is the one I’m thinking (more from a figure I have, than the line drawing)
