I have been considering the purchasing of Old Glory Cannibal Huts, but I am wondering if anyone has seen these first hand and could tell me the diameter and height?
Additionally, does anyone have their Chicago Gangster Buildings and can share their dimensions?
I ask because I am hope to find suitable buildings for usage with my 28mm miniatures from Copplestone and Artizan, but I would rather avoid purchasing these if they will not look right. Understanding that they say these are for usage with 25mm, we know this is a fuzzy "scale" with a ample roof subjectivity.
Thank-you,

Alcide,
I have a set painted for use with Darkest Africa. They work well with the DA figs from Foundry but not sure how they measure up with the stuff at the larger end of the scale (Foundry DA being closer to 25mm IMHO). They do range in size from 2 small to 1 large and 1 very large hut. I'll see if I can dig them out and see how my Copplestone and Artizan figs look next to them.

Smaller old glory huts: 3.5" diameter, 2.75" tall.
Larger old glory hut: 5" diameter, 3.5" tall.
They will look just fine with ANY 25 or 28mm figures, as many versions of african huts could only be entered by stooping over, or even on hands and knees.

For the Old Glory Chicago gangster buildings have a look in the Mean Streets Album of the Photo gallery on my site ~

You can see all of them there in shots with Pulp Figures miniatures.

I'm looking forward to seeing the game that has cannibal huts in the Windy City. Post apocalyptic tribes in Chicago? Scarface Capone recruiting new muscle for his gangs? The mind boggles!

Why not go to the grocery store, buy a couple of coconuts, drill a hole in one of the holes to drain it; use a band saw and cut them in half. Scoop out the insides (which are edible - quite a nice little treat). Let them dry out, then use a forsner bit, drill a 1" hole in one side and then use the band saw and cut up to the hole on either side to make a door. I used 5 coconuts this way, which makes 10 mud huts. It cost me less than $5 (Canadian). Just a thought...and they look great!! I use them with my Pulp games; Star Wars games (Tusken encampment); Pirate games on primitive islands. They are very versatile. They look very similar to this and this one costs $10 USD for only 1:

WOW! The OG one DOES look like a split coconut. :D
I do have some of the other OG's huts (not split coconuts) and I will try to get pics up on Sunday.
I also have the Gangsters buildings too...

Seems you talk from experience, Chick... I remember vaguely you were doing some hunting in Africa in your younger days. Looks like I just found out what you've been hunting exactly... lol
