A little 500 point clash using Battlegroup Westwall. Very close battle, but the US managed to push the Germans past their Battle Rating and force the to withdraw, but it was very close.
The US had the better of the tank fighting, losing one M10, while the StuH42 and the Panther went down to 76mm rounds from the Shermans. The Germans though had the better of the infantry fighting where the MG42 teams excelled in ambushing enemy units among the village buildings, pinning them down and causing casualties.
It wasn't enough though, and German losses, coupled with the US holding on too several objectives, was enough to force the German withdrawal. Nice to be back playing games again, especially WW2!

OMG! Fantastic looking game! Absolutely brilliant! Are they 20mm?
-
Just gorgeous! I love that terrain! The way it all blends so naturally!

It's 20mm for those above. Possibly one of the best-looking WW2 games I've come across, really great work.

What a great looking game!

20mm as always... all AB Figures this time. Not much better for WW2.

Great stuff as ever (have just received my copy). A beautiful and inspirational table to play over.

Yes, if they check Piers' post history, they're in for a treat!
