Title: Pirate treasure hunt
Post by: SteveBurt on 21 December 2022, 11:07:13 AM
A game using Donnybrook, with Pirates and Navy competing to pick up treasure somewhere in the Caribbean. Great fun, with much mayhem as usual, and a narrow pirate win.(https://i.imgur.com/oN4ychI.jpg)

Rather orderly, regular looking formation for a group of pirates !

They had only just piled out of their boats. The game was anything but orderly! The usual chaos that Donnybrook does so well

This is such an exciting thread!  I too have plans to have a similar game topic, so I am truly inspired over what I’ve seen here.

About tropical vegetation … To make the battlefield or exploration area look more authentic, I’ve found these three useful suggestions for vegetation in much of Latin America, SE Asia and Africa.

- For sharp thorn thickets:

- Making tall grass from artificial grass rugs:

- Using washes on aquarium plants:

I hope it helps.

PS.  I found a source for the “thorn thickets”.  Just select Type 3:
