Very nice job on those chaps (and chapess). Waiting for them to appear on Empress' website (if they're there already, I must be daft... :D)

Those are beautifully done Jon. I’m sure I have a reason to get those :)

I thought they were there (I was waiting for the postal difficulties - seasonal and otherwise - to disperse before putting in my order) but on looking at https://www.empressminiatures.com/modern-civilians-108-c.asp, (https://www.empressminiatures.com/modern-civilians-108-c.asp,) although it has the text:
The original series were set on a German building site and the series followed the trials and tribulations of a group of British builders
The figures are not there

Working all day for a packet of pay,
Then send it all back to the wife.
Still you keep a little here just to keep you in beer,
That's living alright!
Ah, the memories. I was too young to fully understand things like the Geordie accent so I couldn't understand half of what they said! Great miniatures with a variety of uses.

Lovely painting! :-*

The Boys from the Blackstuff is something completely different (especially in tone).
-
They are in the shop now chaps. ;)
Happy Christmas,
Paul

Alrighty then. I reckon I'll have them ordered by week's end!
-
Yep, your painting has inspired me to get these, not sure what I'll do with them though! lol
-
I know what I'll do with mine. The unarmed chaps (and chapess) will be regular civilians, while the armed ones will get added to my Armed Civilians I built from Wargames Atlantic's Partisan box (I even painted some up to (more or less) match some of my unarmed civilians...)
They will appear in some of our modern games, I'm sure....

Brilliant job Dags........ as always ;)
