Leagues of Votann
"The Leagues of Votann are a prominent Squat civilization based around the Galactic Core. For thousands of years, they have exploited the riches of the core and overcome the dangers of the perilous region. Over these many millennia they have battled many of the galaxy's races, while just as frequently trading or acting as mercenaries.
The Votann are a rugged survivalist culture, having derived their society from the dangerous merchant-fleets of the Dark Age of Technology. They find strength and unity in the endless quest to acquire the resources they need to endure. While many judge them as selfish hoarders, they see these actions as necessary to ensure the survival of their race. Few other races can match the cloned Kin of the Leagues of Votann in the resilience of mind, body, and spirit."

An Einhyr Champion(ess), right out of the box, only a head swap. Painted in Ymyr Conglomerate colours.
A nice mini, I liked working on her.

Here comes the strange part, the new squats are almost as big as Marines and certainly bigger than humans...
Scale creep at its best. ;)

Nice minis and extremely well executed but WTF! Why are they so big? :o
I want to like them but they are too damn big and not at all Squat-like, but then again I am an old fart lol
Merry Christmas

Lovely work as usual.
She looks large as she is wearing the larger type of votann power armour, normal infantry are smaller/ shorter.
Though I think they should have used 25mm bases for the smaller ones.
See here.

True she is extra big in the HUGE Exo armour, your linked comparison is better!
Still way too big for my taste... ;)

I am forced to agree with my wise friend here, better but still too big :o lol

I got the Hernkyn Pioneers from Santa (dwarfs on levitating motorbikes), so I want to do some comparisons between them and Wargames Atlantic.
That picture, however, does not fill me with optimism. As well as the ginormous power armour, it's yet another in the current GW fad of "jumping off rocks/standing on a rock/doing a handstand on a rock" o_o
But yeah, even allowing for power armour and the rock, that is still a big (if excellently painted) figure :(

Lovely painting as we expect from you :-*

Beautiful. But not very dwarfy.

Slightly converted (head swap - from Statuesque minis) Hesyr or Hesyra?
This sculpt is actually smaller and IMO more fitting!

Fantastic work, and a very nice colour scheme.

Agreed, lovely colouring

Thanks folks! :)

black and red colour-scheme wouldn't be my choice - but then I don't know the fluff / idealogy of that particular faction.
(looking into this a bit more, I see there's an 'all red' faction, which might be my choice were I to ever actually paint any of the range.
Like the main-website colour scheme for them too, which for some reason makes me think 'Space 1999' ...)
Your paint-jobs of course are great, skill-wise, as per.
love the models - almost got me to 'give in' and get some 40k stuff on its own terms.

Hmm. Nice figures but still not enough to tempt me back to 40k.
