Getting old...
I cannot recall the Dystopian Wars ground combat system. The small scale one, not Legions. The one with all the neat landships.
What was the name of it. Are the miniatures still sold?
Thanks

Were you thinking of Armored Clash? That was the alternate land rules set, not the reworking of air / land / sea into the quick play version of Dystopian Fleet Action from Spartan Games before the close.
There is a great development summary on Man Battlestations...

...but I do not think Warcradle is close to putting out anything for land yet.

Sorry if thread-hijacking, but do you mean 2.0 or something else? Even reading through the little history you reference, which alone is due my profound thanks, but I'm still not clear, clarity a less and less common occurrence for me. (I had to correct 'occurrence' three times before spell check got ALL the way off my back...)

DW Fleet Action was more of a companion game instead of a full edition like 2.0 or 2.5 that was a cut-down set of rules that was supposed to be quick play just like the quick play Spartan put out for Firestorm Armada - Firestorm Taskforce.
Both Fleet Action and Taskforce were under 40 pages, and I prefer FA Taskforce to regular Firestorm, but I don't know how quick games with DW Fleet Action would have turned out. I checked back through my copy and there were still 4 altitude bands for models, but my interest in DW then and now was only to see what mechanics Spartan would carry over to the next build of Firestorm Armada.
