Title: Looking for old Heritage fantasy models
Post by: Dukewilliam on 07 February 2023, 02:56:50 PM
Men,

I am looking for just about any of the old Heritage fantasy models based on LotR. I think they called them their 'Lords and Rings' line.

I know there is a guy who casts them, and gods bless him, but it takes months and months to get any figures from him and his communication is almost nil. (I even offered to but the molds from him.)

Does anyone know anywhere else these can be purchased? Does anyone have any they want to get rid of? My goal for this year is to work on these as much as possible.

Any help appreciated,
Thanks,
Steve

This is the Fantasy Board, you can't just say "men", there might be elves, dwarves, orcs, goblins, etc. and I know for a fact we have a number of women hobbyists here!
 lol

Is this the range here?

If so, there's a Bakshi vibe from them that's pretty cool.

What if I only wanted to talk with the men?

But my goal is to buy the figs not ID them. I think they were bought by Heritage from DKS, but I am not sure. In any case, here is what I am looking for:

You are correct about the 'Bakshi vibe'.. I believe those figures were from the LotR movie he made. I have some of those also.

So, if anyone can direct me to where I may purchase these figs, including from personal metal heaps, let me know, thanks.

Steve

PS:You know elves, dwarves, orcs, goblins etc, in this context, are just made up right?

But women aren't. :)

Well in that case it just comes across as rude, I'm afraid.

So, I take it you can't help me find the miniatures?

Apparently not, other than highlighting the range visually for those who may have recognised the figures, but not necessarily recognised the name of the company. Someone might recognise the figures and be able to point you in the right direction, assuming it's not a woman, as per your enquiry.

No problem. The Fantasy Board is generally a friendly, helpful place for all.

Generally.

Quite, there are of course, always exceptions.
